Q - How can I reduce my water bill?
A - You start by installing a High-Efficiency
Toilet. A High-efficiency toilet can conserve
water by using 20% less water per flush. Repair
or replace any faucets that may be dripping water.
Have home tested for any possible hidden water
leaks.
Q - Why doesn't my old water heater work as well
as it used to?
A - This is usually due to a sediment buildup
in your tank. As water heaters grow older, they
accumulate sediment and lime deposits. If these
deposits are not removed periodically, the sediment
will create a barrier between the burner and the
water, greatly reducing the water heater's performance
level. These results in an increase in the amount
of fuel required to deliver hot water.
Q - What do I do if I have a plumbing emergency?
A - Give us a call! If your house is flooding,
shut the water off to your home until we can arrive
and assess the problem. If you don’t know
how to do that, give us a call and we’ll
walk you through it over the phone.
Q - How Can I prevent clogged drains?
A - Do not rinse fats or cooking oils down the
kitchen sink. Liquid fats solidify in the cold
pipes and create clogs. To help present clogs,
fit all your tubs and shower drains with a strainer
that catches hair and soap chips, and clean the
strainer regularly
